Coach Candace met with several doctors and therapists that work with the young adult population at the Kolmac Clinic. They discussed the link between ADHD and addiction. The doctors shared that many of their patients are diagnosed with ADHD/ADD when they come to the clinic for after-care. The therapists and doctors shared that they are concerned about their patients and are looking for other resources outside of the clinic to help them manage their ADHD/ADD. Coach Candace discussed the adult ADHD support group that she leads once a month. She also discussed how beneficial AHDH coaching is as a part of the treatment plan for their patients. Coach Candace is looking forward to working with the doctors and therapists at the Kolmac Clinic to help support the needs of the young adult population.
